I was born in 1997, Byron Bay Australia – currently on the road.
At the center of my work is place & how its shaped by what is carries. I found this simple poetic definition ‘Place – an area or space occupied by something’. Space exists as a protective skin that carries the vulnerability of human expression. Some things are too fragile to look at them, they need to be reflected, dug out, slowly revealed. In my work I look at the the vessels that carry our self representation. Trough examining its material conditions, its scars & artifacts, we get a gimps into our expression, without shattering its shield & burning it out. Standing behind a grid of pixels, in an empty webcam room, in a 300px low res profile photo or in a condensed colore spectrum – we want to be seen.
